Governor’s Choice Café Menu

  • Warm Garlic Turkish Toasts $3 per person

 

  • Governor’s Choice cheese platters are a delightful spread of five cheeses, dried and fresh fruits, nuts, dip, pickled onions and a selection of meats.  The platters are served with crackers including gluten free rice crackers.  $30 (L) $24 (sm)
  • Lamb cutlets - Cumin and coriander crusted lamb cutlets served with zucchini and corn fritters.  $20 Suggested wine accompaniment      (GC 08 Verdelho)

 

  • Beef Nachos – Layers of corn chips with ground beef, tomato salsa, melted cheese served with guacamole, refried beans and corn.  $18 Suggested wine accompaniment (GC Estate Red)
  • Prime rib fillet - Enjoy our quality char-grilled local rib fillet served with mixed vegetable muffins and garden salad.  $25 Suggested wine accompaniment (GC 02 Cabernet/Shiraz) 

 

  • Chicken Parmigiana – Oven baked chicken parmigiana topped with aubergine, red napoli tomato sauce and tasty cheese served with pumpkin and mushroom risotto.  $22 Suggested wine accompaniment (GC 08 Chardonnay) or (GC 05 Estate White)
  • Pizza Supremo – Italian made crispy pizza base topped with bacon, kabana, capsicum, olives, sun dried tomato, pineapple, mushroom and tasty cheese.  $18  Suggested wine accompaniment (GC 02 Cabernet/Shiraz)

 

  • Mediterranean Gnocchi – Oven baked potato gnocchi with salami, sundried tomato, capsicum, spicy cucumber strips and fetta cheese.  $20  Suggested wine accompaniment (GC Estate Red)

  • Warm sticky banana pot pudding.  Served with custard.  $7

 

  • White chocolate and raspberry blondie bombshell.  $7
  • Warm sticky date pudding served with fresh cream.  $7

 

  • Profiteroles filled with fresh cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce.  $7
  • Warm rhubarb pudding served with fresh cream.  $7

 

  • Ice cream is available at $1 extra with your dessert.
  • Tea (Your choice of english breakfast, earl grey, green or plain) $3 per person.

 

  • Coffee is served in a plunger pot $3 per person.
